Field Report: Precision De-Installation of a Varian TrueBeam LINAC

Handling high-tier oncology equipment requires more than just heavy lifting; it demands extreme technical precision. This week, our field engineering team successfully completed the de-installation of a Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator (LINAC) from an outpatient diagnostic center.

The Engineering Challenge De-installing a system of this magnitude involves meticulously dismantling the gantry, securing the wave guide, and ensuring that sensitive imaging panels are protected against micro-vibrations during transit. Our certified technicians mapped the entire teardown process to guarantee that all OEM specifications were maintained.

Rigging and Logistics Once safely dismantled, the components were custom-crated. [If you have a video, add: Check out the time-lapse video above to see the rigging process as we navigated tight facility corridors without disrupting the clinic’s ongoing operations.]

Current Status: Available for Custom Configuration This Varian TrueBeam system is currently arriving at our facility for comprehensive inspection and testing. It will soon be available in our catalog.

If your facility is looking for reliable, expertly handled imaging and oncology equipment, our engineering team is ready to assist with custom sourcing and installation.
